Many of you know me as the founder of Jim Rohn International and Your Success Store. Companies I built to over 1 million customers (and email subscriber lists) and created over 300 products (DVDs, CDs, books and training programs). I’m also the author of 52 Lessons I Learned From Jim Rohn and Other Legends I Promoted! and co-author of Chicken Soup for the Entrepreneur’s Soul.

One of the great distinctions I came to over 20 years ago when I was filling up big rooms for my events and hiring speakers like Brian Tracy, Og Mandino and Jim Rohn (prior to our partnership in 1993) was this:

The most famous speakers, authors and trainers (add musicians, artist, actors, etc) aren’t neccesarily always the most talented or gifted at what they do. In fact, I always said the top people in my industry were often times better marketers than they were speakers, thus the reason why they were the most famous… UNLESS they had a promotor like me, in the case of Jim Rohn.

You see Jim Rohn was, in my opinion, one of the greatest speakers of our time; he just wasn’t a marketer. That is why we had such a synergistic relationship and business together. Once we partnered his speaking fee doubled multiple times and we went from no list to a massive list, created dozens and dozens of products and filled big rooms.

Ok, now fast forward to today and the point of this invitation.

In 2007 I was fortunate enough to buy a Lessons From url related to a major topic. Not long after that I discovered another and then another until I literally had hundreds and hundreds of the top topics and niches in the marketplace.

Now what does that mean? Honestly, not much…

Unless…. You are a marketer/promoter who has done it before (teamed up with experts) on a grand level and have all the stories, testimonials, relationships and results to back it up.

their weakness. With my current (and future) team of Experts we will be working side-by-side (as I did with Jim Rohn for over 18 years) where they have the content and I’m helping them create the list building pieces, create products, build their brand, etc.

And it’s not just limited to personal development. Yes, I have some incredible strategic relationships for Leadership, Selling, Marketing, Women in Business, Motivation etc…. but I also have many, many more unique domains in the Lessons From world and plan to launch everything from Lessons From Sports, Fishing, Health, Doctors, Real Estate, Martial Arts, etc.. The key is who with.
